Press on Toward the Goal
Have you ever climbed a mountain? My Dad and I have hiked many places, but most recently, we walked up a steep incline to the top of a hill in Wertheim, Germany. The goal was to see the Wertheim Castle. While the view was spectacular, there is something far greater that we are working toward. Like Paul, we are pressing toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called us heavenward in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14). We have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, with the promise of eternal life in Heaven. Salvation is the most priceless gift ever given.
